Dockyardz storm Naija with My Baby The Africa musical landscape is about to witness the emergence of yet another stunning new kid called Josiah Elvis Evi a.k.a Dockyardz. He is a Delta state born artistes with exhaustive musical depth, a niche he carved professionally in Ghana. Dockyardz is ready to hit the industry earpiece with his hit singles “My Baby”. This according to him is a song that took him long to put together for his Naija fans who he said deserve new musical lines away from the clones and unoriginality that characterized the music scenery. With a choir background from childhood, Dockyardz became so popular as a Bass guitarist, which later became a selling point to launching into the world of music and through this he has steadily built the clout an artist of his class deserves. As a Political science graduate from the Ebonyi State University, he started professional music with a group called the Blues6 top band as the bass guitarist. The unfortunate death of the group leader, led him to team up with a group of four to form The Gees. His passion for production kept him active in music, albeit behind-the-scenes as he left Nigeria for Ghana to join a rock band playing for Golden Tulip Hotel and another Dutch hotel as the Africa band. After many years as a band boy, he left the band to craft his solo album, with a stint at the Rickey's studio in Ghana. The new single tagged “My Baby” according to Dockyardz is specially cooked to rock the airwaves in Nigeria and Ghana when finally released. He boasted that the single will serve as a substantial appetizer for his upcoming album. Dockyardz hinted that Africa music industry would be a disaster without a signature by him. DOWNLOAD |
