Exclusive Interview with Nollywood fast rising actress CHIMAMANDA DENNIS



In this exclusive interview with Chimamands Dennis, you will get to know more about the beautiful and talented Nollywood fast rising actress who is also an entrepreneur  and philanthropist      -- taking Nollywood by storm; Nigeria celebrity gist reports. 

Chimamands Dennis was born Dec 14 1998 into a middle class family loosing both parent at an early age. She is an indigene of Anaku, Anambra, Nigeria. Below is an exclusive interview with the star actress.


Q: Can we meet you? What is your title?

A: Chimamands Dennis is an ACTRESS
   
Q: We understand you lost both parent at an early age how true is that?


Chimamands Dennis: yeah! That his true, I actually lost my mum at age 5, and my dad at age 12, it has been the grace of GOD that I am alive been the last child of my parent.

Q: What film/project are you currently working on?

Chimamands Dennis: Just attended an audition in GHANA and anticipating a reply soon, am also currently involved in some new movies coming to cinema soon, like HOTEL CHOCO and others I can’t disclose their names for now.


Q: In one sentence, describe your job.

Chimamands Dennis: acting is what gives me happiness.

Q: What skills are necessary for a person in your position?

Chimamands Dennis: Well, there are a lot of skills an actor need. A good knowledge of history, the ability to read and memories long notes, good communication, ability to play a role you never know and lots more.

Q: What kind of training did you go through to get to your position?

Chimamands Dennis: I am a student of yabatech lagos studying theater acts, I am also grateful to Hillcity media who helped me in the basis of my love for acting in registering me in basic seminars and stage craft.
 
Q: What was your first job in theater?

Chimamands Dennis: So long ago I have no idea. I am sure it was a play at a community theater somewhere in Enugu the eastern part of Nigeria at age 9.

Q: Why do you think theater is important?

Chimamands Dennis: Theater is a very vital part of our life’s where we can express ourselves and also use it to entertain other with the three aspect which is ENTERTAINING, INFOMATIVE, and EDUCATIVE.

Q: What is your profession’s greatest challenge today?

Chimamands Dennis: Directors! They discover a lot of upcoming professional actresses and they always want to have sex with young stars just to get a role. Also the industry does not have any easy access or talent hunt where youngsters can be discovered.

Q: If you could change just one thing about the industry with the wave of a magic wand, what would it be?

Chimamands Dennis: I would make it easy for more talented people to be discovered.

Q: What advice would you give to someone who wanted to do what you do?

Chimamands Dennis: Learn, get a mentor, study the craft, Read. Find the right contacts and most importantly get a degree in related to theater.
