Oluwa Segun Johnson A.k.a Aqoreen (official Stage name) is an Artist and a Song writer with a strong passion for people, a passion for encouraging a positive attitudinal change in people, a knack for good music and giving his audience good pleasure through his musical style. His musical theme centres around everyday lifestyle has we have it here in Nigeria and all round the world

Aqoreen has being on the Music entertainment industry scene for a while as a live music entertainer in Corporate party events with his own live band, also as a Pro-backup Singer for a host of known name Artist in Nigeria, a gifted Musician who can play well the Piano, Drums and Acoustic Guitar. Aqoreen started his Music Career at a very tender age-14 and has since move on to several phases in his career.

His Greatest music Inspiration comes from no other than our own soul Legend “Timi Dakolo” and “Dare Art Alade” and on the foreign scene is the great Soul king “John Legend”. This artist has being a source of strong motivation and their works serve as a musical workstation where he his draws energy from.




Aqoreen Releases two new singles on December 16 2015- Titled “Tales of Tracy (Official Debut Single)” and “January to December” which is now available on major online musical stores.

Regarding this new release, his producer asked him a question casually saying

“Guy what are your expectations over this work you are putting so much energy into, are you sure your soul music will sell in Nigeria?, why not let’s make it a kukere fusion, at least that way many Nigerians would listen to you”

Aqoreen stated “Am just hopeful Nigerians would appreciate my work and one day come to understand that times are changing and now is the time for soul music to thrive in Nigeria, but more importantly to me is that I remain me, remain focus with my style and they In turn enjoy my style”

He ended by stating a quote from a Hit by Dare Art Alade “e no means say because you nah gbadun my style eh at all, at all nah him bad e pass eh” his producer got encouraged and everyone bursted into laughter.
