'She can't sing anymore... at all!' Mariah Carey's vocals mocked by fans as she kicks off Tour in Tokyo.

Mariah Carey has been criticised for her vocal performance following a concert in Japan on Saturday.

As the 44-year-old singer kicked off her Elusive Chanteuse World Tour in Tokyo last night, but it seems her energetic set didn't go down too well with some fans.

One Twitter user, Elle, wrote:
'It's a wrap for Mariah Carey's singing career. You're a legend. Time to retire. She can't sing anymore. At all. What happened?'

A user, who goes by handle Peaches & Herb, tweeted after seeing the video: ‘Y'all. Mariah Carey really can't sing anymore. That was hard to listen to.
‘I see why Mariah Carey never sings live anymore. That's why.’

However, it seems some fans thoroughly enjoyed themselves, with Abby tweeting: 'I just had the absolute best time at @MariahCarey

'#TheElusiveChanteuseShow #Tokyo Def a night to remember!!!!'

Me.I am Jevi tweeted: 'A+mazing! And can't believe there were 23 songs! Looking forward seeing you at MY & SG!'

A representative for the star claims they've only received good reviews from people who attended the opening show.
